Houston’s Most Hated | Everything you hate. And, one thing you love.

Brett Koshkin

Some of you may not be oldschool enough to know of a man we used to call Suess, but i can guarantee you will know of this man named Brett Koshkin by the end of the day. Brett Koshkin of Dirty Honey nights at Boondocks has been holding it down for some time now. This man has been on a journey through time and space collecting the most obscure 45’s and old rare funk & soul classics. While dj’s of today stay heavy on the Serato Box and Final Snatch this man keeps it real. You know those little round holes in your turntables up in the left hand corner? Well there used to sit a metal piece that would allow you to play records that were released as 45’s. This dj’s collection of vinyl from all over the world is unbelievable. The digital dj’s of today can’t hold a candle to this loop digger. There has been many dj biscuit heads that have tried, but none more successful as this one. Brett holds down residency from Houston to Austin right now and there is no reason why you should be missing out on him.

We at HMH have been on this mans ass to get us an exclusive mix with these vintage 45’s he’s been collecting.. Well today i’m proud to announce we’ve finally received that long awaited moment. Today we’re releasing a mix not pushed by digital delays and reverb wahh wahh basslines. Today we bring you a rare groove, soul & funk slap your momma in the face Hour of mixed music that will be sure to turn you into the fans we always were.

So without any Further wait.
